Sponsored Bike Ride - 8th September 2007

Mike Lawford from All Saints' Church writes:- The annual sponsored bike ride around churches in aid of the Historic Churches in Herts and Beds was held on Saturday 8th September. From our church Elizabeth Inall, Chris Roberts and Ron Gaines took part. For the first two hours of their journey Chris and Ron were joined by Mike Lawford and his children Susannah, Sarah and James, in support. Attached is the Lawfords' record of the churches they managed to visit over 2 and a half hours and eight miles. Chris and Ron managed to keep going for much longer covering over 30 miles in total! (I didn't get to ask Elizabeth what her stats were?!) - Mike. [In fact Elizabeth visited 13 churches using her own route to take in the opening of the Credit Union and St Mary's Fete, but did rather less than 30 miles and avoided all photo opportunities!
