Regular Services at All Saints' Church

The table below shows the regular weekly pattern of services, but please
click here to see details of actual Services and Events coming up at All Saints during the next few weeks.
Day Time Service
Sunday 9.00 a.m. Holy Communion (Common Worship).
This robed service is mostly said, but we do sing the Gloria, the Sanctus and two Hymns. There is an organist and a small choir, and a short sermon is given. Although not designed for children, children are very welcome and do attend.
Coffee & fellowship after service.
10.15 a.m. Family (All Age) Service
An informal and varied evangelical style service using a mix of modern and traditional songs & hymns. A service book is used to give some structure, and songs, readings and liturgy are projected onto a screen. A music group including young musicians leads our worship about once a month. A sermon or talk is given, generally on the Bible reading for the Sunday. Children may go out to Sunday Clubs (or other Children's activities in holiday times) and return towards the end of the service. Also a Creche is available.

On the first Sunday in the month (or at other special times) the Family Service includes Holy Communion (Common Worship).

Coffee & fellowship after service.
9.30 a.m. Combined Summer Services:
During the summer (end July to early September) and some other special times a combined 9.30am family communion service replaces the 9am and 10.15am services.
6.30 p.m. There is no regular pattern of evening service at All Saints', but instead occasional and varied services will be arranged. When an evening service is not arranged you are invited to 6.30pm Evensong at St Nicholas' Church.
Tuesday 7.30 a.m. Morning Prayers in the Gordon Facer Room which is next to the hall. (Entrance from the car park). A 30 min quiet time of informal prayers. May not take place during holiday periods - please check with clergy.
1.30 p.m. Tots & Teddies Service (for the under 5's)
A 15 min service in the hall followed by Drinks and Playtime
Note: School Term time only.
Thursday 9.00 a.m. Morning Prayer
9.30 a.m. Said Eucharist
BCP Traditional Language on the first Thursday in the month and Common Worship on all other Thursdays. Coffee afterwards.
